When restoring desk and table lamps with plastic type bayonet lampholders, a common problem is that once the cap is installed the body needs to be screwed into place causing twisting in the the flex.
The clip top type bayonet lampholder eliminates this problem, simply fix the cap to your lamp, wire the flex to the terminal section and then just clip the body onto the cap for a semi permanent connection. This also prevents any chance of the lampholder being unscrewed by children.
These bayonet (also known as B22 or BC) lampholders are the same great quality as our regular bayonet types and are the perfect replacement for all kinds of table, floor and desk lamps.
