Bayonet Lampholders B22 & BC

Bayonet cap lampholders, also known as B22 or BC are the most common type in UK homes. A bayonet fitting uses two small pins on the side of the bulb and the bulb is fitted or removed using a push and twist action. 

There are fewer styles of decorative bulbs available for bayonet lampholders so they tend to be mainly used in restoration or repair of antique and vintage lighting. We stock a wide range of different thread sizes for repair of older lamps. More recent lamps will usually be M10 threaded.
