European Flat Enamel Lampshade Black Summary

These shades are of the European provincial style, a very simple design compared to their contemporary British equivalents. These shades would have been hung in farms and dwellings throughout continental Europe.

The flat shade gives a much wider light distribution and is perfect for lofts, hallways, outbuildings and even outdoors where a single bulb is expected to light a greater area. Alternatively, hang them on long low cables and pair with a low wattage feature bulb for a cosy, intimate feel to any room.

Finished in a black enamel these shades measure 29cm in diameter and have a dished appearance being approximately 4cm high.

The lamp holder aperture is 28mm for Bayonet or Small Screw (E14) Lampholders.

The shade is supplied bare, cable, lampholder and bulb for illustration only.
